Dubai Healthcare City 2 (DHCC 2) is an extension of the original Dubai Healthcare City, the world’s first healthcare free zone established in 2002. Phase 2 of DHCC spans 176 hectares in the Al Jaddaf area, near Dubai Creek on Oud Metha Road. DHCC 2 includes six zones: the Clinical Zone, Mixed-Use Medical Zone, Long-Term Care, Wellness Resorts, Canal Residences, Central District, and Clinical Villas. DHCC 2 was conceived as a wellness hub focused on long-term care, with facilities for sports medicine and nutrition. This expansion aims to create the largest integrated healthcare and wellness center in the region, attracting patients and healthcare professionals from around the globe. The infrastructure in DHCC 2 is designed with sustainable and eco-friendly technologies, ensuring a high level of comfort and safety for both patients and healthcare professionals. Dubai Healthcare City 2 continues to bolster Dubai’s reputation as a global hub for medical tourism and healthcare innovation, offering cutting-edge medical services and research at an international standard.
A key focus of DHCC 2 is to bring in innovative projects and technologies in the field of healthcare, making it a leading center for medical advancements and research. The area is also developing wellness and rehabilitation centers with a broad range of services — from traditional medicine to alternative and integrative health approaches. DHCC 2’s vision is to foster an environment that not only treats illnesses but also promotes disease prevention, enhances quality of life, and encourages a healthy lifestyle within the community.
